Field Technician
Positions are based out of the following locations:

- Brookfield, WI: Servicing the Greater Milwaukee area.

The responsibilities of a Field Repair Technician are to diagnose and repair material handling equipment such as fork lift trucks, aerial equipment and floor cleaning equipment (gas, diesel, LP gas, or electrically powered.) Will travel to our customers’ locations and repair their equipment. Will order parts, process paperwork, and maintain housekeeping in the service van and at customer property. Past experience repairing heavy equipment, construction equipment or farm equipment needed. Prior experience repairing lift trucks or aerial equipment a strong plus! Requires strong mechanical aptitude and good troubleshooting skills. Requires a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Must be able to push, pull and carry up to 100 lbs. WISCONSIN OPEN POSITIONS:
Electro Mechanical Technician

Diagnose and repair material handling equipment (including High Density Mobile Shelving, Rotary Files, filing software etc.). Repairs done at customer facilities. Keep customers aware of job status, maintain communication with our administrative staff. Complete and submit all paperwork daily for jobs worked on (time cards, maintenance reports with customers’ signature). Identify jobs that should be sent to our shop for repair and recommend they be sent in. Attend service training classes offered to maintain knowledge on new products, or for refreshers on products not encountered too often. Adhere to safety rules and policies at all times.

Inside Sales Intern

This position is responsible for telemarketing projects to generate leads for the sales and management team and documenting results. Follow up with prospects and customers to uncover interest. Technical Trainer

Provide technical training for our repair technicians, and provide technical support for our service and sales departments, as well as our customers. Will develop classes needed to provide the best in-house training for our repair technician staff. Will stay current on all technical matters on the products we represent by attending factory schools as available and thru self study & e-learning, as available. Will teach classes developed to our techs and our customers’ technicians. Gather feedback from students and use feedback to make improvements as appropriate. Apprentice Shop Technician

Field Repair Technician – Wolter Power Systems

Responsible for servicing Generators and/or Industrial Engines to include new generator start-ups as well as troubleshooting/diagnosing repairs needed to generators or engines. Service work done on-site at customer locations, some travel needed (generally not overnight). Keep office staff and customers aware of job status. Complete all pertinent paperwork related to jobs. Receptionist-Brookfield

The Receptionist provides support for the Brookfield branch/corporate facility. Responsibilities include: Answering and routing incoming calls and helping customers connect with personnel, greet and direct visitors; Open and distribute incoming mail daily, prepare inter-company mail for delivery to other branches, and prepare outgoing mail with postage and prepare it for pick up; Submit check requests for postage and load postage on machine, and order postage supplies (ink, tape, sealer) as needed; Order office supplies for human resources and training departments; Code invoices for Building Maintenance and submit to AP; Sort through incoming vendor invoices and match them to purchase orders for accounts payable in QuipWare; Prepare the monthly Linde and SMH statements for all branches; Verify scanned documents for A/P; Keep reception area and mail room neat and orderly, and complete miscellaneous clerical projects for departments as needed. Shop Technician-Indianapolis

Responsible for diagnosing and repairing material handling equipment brought into our shop for repair – meeting and exceeding customer’s expectations. Duties include: Completing all service jobs that are assigned to you; Documenting all recommended additional repairs found, working with Shop Foreman on preparing quote for customer; Communicating with the Shop Foreman, Shop Lead, and/or Shop Manager on any unusual service problems encountered or for any technical assistance needed; Attending service training classes offered to maintain knowledge on new products, or for refreshers on products not encountered too often; Completing and submitting all paperwork daily for jobs worked on (time cards, maintenance reports etc.); Communicating with Shop Foreman as to status of jobs assigned to you; Offering assistance to other shop techs, as appropriate; Keep shop clean and organized – clean up spills (oil, etc.) immediately; and always adhere to safety rules and policies at all times.
To be successful, an employee must have very good skills in repairing powered industrial equipment, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience repairing fork lift trucks and/or other products we represent, to include all types of LP Gas, diesel, and electric trucks, successfully complete any training courses required, must be a good communicator – written and verbal, with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, basic computer proficiency and laptop fundamentals, must own tools necessary to perform repairs, per our recommended tool list.
